This Spanish salami style sausage is second only in popularity to the king chorizo. It is spiced with a little gentle pepper rather that pimenton and makes a delicious addition to your antipasto plate. (Put this in your basket before Jen eats it all!!)
We source our whole Iberico salchichon from the Guillen family in Guijelo, Salamanca who having been expertly curing their meats naturally for generations. The fine quality of the famous acorn fed pigs result in this superior quality and unctuous salami. Seriously amazing value, these unsliced chunks are normally supplied to restaurants but we thought you guys might appreciate the value of unsliced chunks a casa
Top tip!
Alway take your dried and cured meats out of the fridge at least 15 mins before serving, it allows the meat to mellow out and the flavours and textures melt in the mouth
